I would like to see an improvement to the communication we receive regarding changes within the organization.
E.g. Changes to policy 402; Medcomm started implementing a change in our “end of shift” procedure before anything was communicated to the crews, a change which is still not reflected in our official policy. I feel that this change should have been communicated to the crews and changed in the policy, prior to being implemented. (This comment is not about the change in policy, I have no objection to that, but to the lack of communication and clear policies)
Equipment changes; I believe we are now carrying commercial chest seals in the red bag. I have seen no communication from the organization about this change in equipment. Without that communication, how would I know to check that equipment during my daily truck checks and monthly teardowns.
