Tri-State Ambulance (TSA) provides 911 ambulance response to 2,200 square miles in portions of beautiful Western Wisconsin and Southeast Minnesota. Primary ambulance deployment is based out of the Regional Operations and Communications Center (ROCC) in central La Crosse. Additionally, three sub-stations in the La Crosse metro and one in our rural Viroqua market provide an abundance of EMS response variety.

In addition to 911 response, TSA provides inter-facility ambulance services up to the critical care level to numerous hospital partners. With a mixture of urban, rural, inter-facility, and critical care response, Tri-State paramedics and EMTs enjoy rewarding and challenging careers working in a highly progressive and evolving healthcare environment.

Gundersen Health System Ambulance (GHSA) provides ambulance service to rural markets in Wisconsin, Iowa, and Minnesota. In addition to providing interfacility ambulance service up to the critical care level from three, and soon to be five locations, GHSA provides 911 ALS service to most of Fayette County in Iowa and Crawford County in Wisconsin. EMS staff can choose to work one location or rotate through multiple locations.

GHSA has developed and maintains a strong working relationship with numerous critical access hospitals throughout the region. These relationships ensure EMS staff are treated as the true professionals that they are. This rural operating model provides a challenging and rewarding experience for EMS professionals to advance their career.
